I pushed through all 91 chapters hoping for better, but this one left me genuinely angry.
The MC is straight-up pathetic. He had real history and mutual feelings with his childhood friend, yet he never manned up to confess properly. His weak excuses (like being scared of getting “beaten” before speaking) were just lame. Then this random girl Tabby shows up out of nowhere, aggressively inserts herself into his life, and suddenly he’s all over her like she earned it. He even has the nerve to tell the childhood friend “let’s just stay friends” after everything.
What makes it worse is how easily the childhood friend forgives him later, even after she had set a clear boundary following their first time together. Her jealousy wasn’t some random flaw — it came from watching him fumble something real for a newcomer who didn’t deserve the spot.
I actually enjoy harems when done right, but here the MC chose wrong on every level. The random girl Tabby had no right to the affection she got, while the childhood friend got sidelined despite having actual history. Seeing the MC be so ungrateful with chances most people would kill for just made me hate him more with every chapter.
The art is great and adult scenes are there, but the character decisions killed any enjoyment for me. If you like spineless MCs who pick the flashy intruder over the girl who’s been there all along, maybe you’ll like it. I didn’t.
